Jollie Little Baby: June 2013

I can NOT believe im sitting here writting Hadleys one month post :( time is flying by.

Sleep sacks, wubanub, dr brown bottles, boon drying rack, ktan, swaddle me, and gripe water.

^First Doctors Appointment, she weighed in at 8.6 and i was told i needed to fatten up my milk

^ Hadley loves to be put in the K'tan carrier when im doing house work

^Sleeping on mommy (trapping mommy from getting up) is hadley's signature move after feedings

^Every single time she wakes up she does multiple stretches that just melt my heart

in an attempt to "fatten" up my milk i started eating a spoon full of unrefined coconut oil (yuck!)

^ also a favorite to sleep in daddys arms

^Bens first Fathers Day (his presents)

^Hadz spent 3 hours on fathers day sleeping like this

^in 1 month i was able to freeze 220oz of breast milk

This is me stripping the diapers (boiling to get the funk smell out) this needs do be done about once a month for us because we have well water.

At one month one day hadley decided to make a burp cloth a security blanket so of course the next day i went out and got her a real one

My baby girl smiled for the first time for me at exactly one month old while i was taking this very picture! I was over the moon excited

Hadley Fenway Jollie:

Stats: 22 inches and 9.2 pounds

90th% percentile for height and 50th% for weight

Likes: being held, eating, bath time, taylor swift, rockabye baby music, your swing and being swaddled.

Dislikes: being in a room alone, getting changed (both diaper and clothes), being burped, being in your stroller in public, sunlight and being hungry.

Dear baby girl,

Its hard to believe your already a month old :( where does time go? During this last month you have changed mommy and daddy's lives SO much but we don't mind at all. Your our whole world and even when we get the chance to leave the house without you..your all we can talk about.

Your sleep is amazing! You get a bath at 7:30 then eat and right before your done eating you get swaddled and you pass out while eating the rest of your milk. You sleep 9pm-5:40am then i wake you up feed you and put you in the nap nanny in bed with me and we sleep till 8am :)

During the day we have absolutely no schedule but we need to work on that, I think it has to do with mommy switching from pumping full time to breast feeding you full time at 3 weeks. Because of the switch you like to "graze eat" like i'm a buffet open 24-7.....again we are working on that!

Mommy and Hadley take walks of the driveway everyday when its not to hot out. You HATE being hot. We are suppose to be doing tummy time and playing under the activity mat but you hate that as well and act like I am torchering you.

Grandma brought over the pink swing she got for you to use at her house and you loved it! It has a netting on it and you love watching the starlights bounce off the netting.

After your first doctors appointment we went and visited your great grandma Mary and she absolutely loved you. In fact everyone who sees you falls in love with you and tells mommy and daddy how beautiful you are. You get many visitors to see you on saturdays. There is not a weekend that has pasted since you were born that aunt jenna and uncle jeff haven't come over to get them some Hadley time.

Well baby girl as sad as it is to think about I know i will be writing our two month letter in no time at all.But until them i savor every moment with you and love getting to see all your FIRSTS.
