~So i really have no experience what so EVER when
it comes to breastfeeding but these are the things I know i'm going to need to be successful at Bf and pumping.
~I have been read "The Womanly Art of Breast Feeding" Its really informative but a little pushy on their views...like that you shouldn't use pacifiers and should just breastfeed on demand and not have a schedule for at least 6 months. I say to each their own!
~So some of the things listed in the picture above are:
A cover (for in public)
a boppy (helps position baby for feedings)
Nursing Bras (easy acsess)
Storage bags and bottles
Nipple Sheilds (if baby has bad latch)
Nipple cream (first few weeks nipples crack)
Breast pump (i want the handsfree shown in pic)
Nursing pads (for leakage)
I found this to be an awesome visual of the size of a babies stomach to be able to understand why they need to many feedings at first. Their stomachs are the size of a marble and fills quickly but also empties quickly.
